The California Association of Public Health Laboratory Directors (www.caphld.org) provides information on addresses, test menus, job opportunities, and upcoming meetings for local public health laboratories in the state.

The Association of Public Health Laboratories (www.aphl.org) is the national version of CAPHLD. Its members are Laboratory Directors of State and Territorial Laboratories. In addition to laboratory locations, this site contains federal policy information, new tests, standards, protocols, training availability and a schedule of upcoming meetings.

The Center for Disease Control and Prevention (www.cdc.gov) is the national public health laboratory. Information on the Laboratory Reference Network (LRN) is available on their web site.
