Alameda County Immigration Legal & Education Partnership (ACILEP)
A network of organizations that can connect callers with experienced, qualified attorneys to respond to deportations, detentions and other interactions with ICE. Serves Alameda County residents. Provides referrals for residents of other counties. All services are free.

Asian Pacific Island Legal Outreach (APILO)
Provides consultation, legal representation and referrals for Removal and Deportation Defense, Special Immigrant Juvenile Status, Asylum, Adjustment of Status, DACA Renewal, Naturalization, T Visas and U Visas, and VAWA Self Petitions. Serves low-income residents of Alameda County, with some exceptions. Best to have the person seeking representation available during the call, if possible.

Immigration Representation Unit, Alameda County Public Defender’s Office
If you are a defendant in a criminal case and are represented by the Alameda County Public Defender’s Office, make sure to let your public defender know if you are not a US Citizen. Every noncitizen accused of a crime is entitled to advice regarding immigration consequences resulting from arrests, charges, and convictions (Padilla v. Kentucky).
