Health is more than healthcare. More and more research indicates that health is a product of one’s environment, and the opportunities and experiences that exist where one lives, learns, plays, and grows: opportunities to play and be safe from violence, to receive a high-quality education, to access healthy food, to have access to jobs and economic opportunities.
