Child Health and Disability Prevention Program (CHDP)
As of July 1, 2024, The Child Health and Disability Prevention program has ended.
The following services will continue under other Medi-Cal delivery systems: Children’s Presumptive Eligibility, Childhood Lead Poisoning Prevention Program and Newborn Hearing Screening Program. See Department of Health Care Services’ CHDP Transition Plan for more information.
The Health Care Program for Children in Foster Care (HCPCFC) will continue as a program of Alameda County Public Health Department.
